Construction 4

The I-shaped frame and crossmembers came next, followed by mounting
the screwdrivers and then working out how to make the pusher mechanism.

The pusher wedges are made from solid oak. The front handle is made
from another piece of pine and a section of broom handle. I relocated
the screwdriver switches to the central handle, so all the controls
can be operated with one hand. The tripod mount, or pintle, consists
of a yoke into which the gun sits, which in turn is clamped into the
top of a Miranda Pro-Video 1 tripod. The whole thing allows +/- 30 degrees
of elevation and a full 360 degrees of rotation.
And that's how it was done!
